Cheri began dancing at a very young age and became a very passionate dancer and gymnast throughout her youth. Cheri participated as an All-Around gymnast on the Chisago Lakes gymnastics team through her senior year and pursued continued involvement in the sport as a coach. Being a gymnast taught Cheri the importance of strength, progression, teamwork and
mentorship. Cheri returned to the dance world in her teen years where she performed at Kaleidoscope Dance Studio in Lindstrom, Minnesota, and continued teaching for many years after. With 30+ year of experience in dancing and instructing, Cheri loves to share her passion for dance with students, and feels proud to see them grow into talented young adults and confident artists. Outside of dance, Cheri loves the great outdoors, including hiking, gardening, biking, swimming, kayaking, and is the proud mother of 3 children. Cheri loves all styles of dance, but her favorite is Tap!

Jodi began dancing at the young age of 4. Jodi danced competitively for 8 years, danced on her high school dance team, and received a Minor in Dance from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Throughout her adolescent years, Jodi was fortunate to build relationships with dance instructors and mentors that fostered creative movement, while also instilling a sense of discipline. During her college career, Jodi was blessed to have been mentored by incredibly creative minds that helped her push everything she thought she knew about the art form. After college, Jodi taught dance for 6 years before taking a break; Jodi is so thrilled to be able to teach again at Treehouse! When she is not dancing, she can be found with her family, probably in one of her many gardens, or hanging out with her many animals.
